Bedu Camel Milk French Clay and Rosewood Face and Body Bar Review

I'm back to blogging. At least for now. December is going to be a very busy month for me.But I can't not write anything and this camel milk soap box has just been sitting ever so patiently waiting to get reviewed. I started with the Vetiver soap, which I absolutely loved. So I went and picked up like three more. The second one being the French Clay and Rosewood.

Bedu claims:
Camel milk is saturated with protective proteins beneficial for skin and is a superb natural cleanser. By virtue of the high amount of proteins, it is most effective in reducing inflammation and speeding recovery of skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis, and well as accelerated wound healing and reduced inflammation.
Camel Milk contains age defying Alpha and Beta Hydroxy acids (known to plump skin and smooth fine lines). It naturally keeps the skin moisturized and prevents sign of aging, sun damage and pigmentation, with its gentle exfoliating and lightening effect. Rich in Vitamin C, (a natural anti-oxidant) it increases collagen production and improves skin resiliency.
High in vitamin E and Vitamin A, which stimulates cell turnover, Camel Milk protects the skin against pollution and cell mutation that can be caused by sun exposure.
It is a natural source of Essential Fatty Acid Linoleic (known for moisture retention), and deeply moisturizing lanolin, which provides a calming and soothing effect on the skin and is beneficial for all skin types–even the most delicate and youngest skin.
French Clay heals and regenerates skin tissue, draws out toxins, unclogs and shrinks pores. It helps clear acne and prevents breakouts. It’s an excellent natural exfoliator, and it evens out skin tone.
Rosewood balances skin and slows the aging process by increasing the regeneration of skin tissues. It reduces the appearance of scars and fine lines, mollifying scar tissue to be more soft and flexible.
Shea Butter is a natural Vitamin A cream, and a superb moisturizer with exceptional healing properties for the skin. The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in Shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing.
So the last soap was for calming and this one is said to Detox and Revitalize. Probably because of the clay, which clay is known to draw out impurities. I guess the Rosewood is for revitalizing, which the scent is said to be. I guess. The scent wasn't really strong. It's almost an unscented soap in terms of scent when in the shower or bath, which was a little disappointing for me.

As for cleaning, it does a great job. The lather is nice, although I think it is a tad more drying than the other soap.

The packaging is nice. It's a good quality box that is very easily recycled.

The ingredients are great. Of course it has camel milk, along with other natural oils and clays.

INGREDIENTS: Sodium Palmate (Saponified Palm Oil), Sodium Palm Kernelate (Saponified Palm Kernel Oil), Water (Aqua), Sodium Shea Butterate (Saponified Shea Butter Oil), Montmorillonite, Parfum (Fragrance), Camelus Dromedarius Lait Powder, Sodium Chloride (Salt), Glycerin (Vegetable Glycerin), Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Oil, Black 2 CI 77266 (Plant Based Pigment), CI 77288 (Mineral Pigment), Citric Acid, Tocopherol (Vitamin E).

The brand is cruelty-free, the soaps are Made in Jordan, and they are all natural.

I'm not sure I would buy this again as a body bar, but I would try it as facial bar. I would prefer the Vetiver one over this one, mostly because of scent. That is the soap that blew me away! But unscented or low scented can definitely be a better option as a facial soap.
